Since its inception in 2004 as a mechanical engineering company, GDC Building Services Ltd has grown and evolved into a multi-faceted building services company providing a broad set of skills including electrical and mechanical services, minor construction works and general refurbishments across the private and public sector. Our customers range from government agencies and the banking sector through to schools and the railway infrastructure.

Managing Director, Graham Cunningham, is an expert in mechanical construction engineering. He started his career in the commercial sector before moving into project management. He set up GDC Mech (abbreviation GDC Mechanical Building Services) to build on his sound technical and business knowledge while ensuring personal contact with the client and project team.
Project Director, Lee Martin joined GDC in 2008 after 10 years' experience with a national construction company working with the National House Building Council (NHBC) on new builds, and he has also attained the IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
Electrical / Project Manager, Shane Woodcock joined GDC in 2011 with over 10 years’ experience within the electrical industry. His aim was to develop an internal electrical division as part of creating this he obtained the Napit full approved accreditation which has allowed us to complete full electrical projects ranging from domestic, commercial to industrial. Through Shane’s experience in dealing with the electrical projects he has gained further knowledge in various trades which has enabled him to deliver a vast majority of projects from mechanical to fabric works, he has also attained the IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
